Mental Health in a Changed World and Workplace

Western Technical College is pleased to welcome Miss Minnesota 2021, Elle Mark! Elle is an honors graduate from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with her Bachelor?s degree in Public Health & Community Health Education. Elle competed for the title of Miss Minnesota and ultimately earned the job on June 25th, 2021. She is now traveling the state promoting the "5 Healthy Habits of Emotional Well-being" on behalf of the Campaign to Change Direction. Her focus is to encourage everyone to take care of their mental health the same way they would their physical health. Elle will be joined by Keith Lease. Keith is an instructor for Western?s Human Services Associate program and a respected mental health expert throughout the Coulee Region. In this session, Keith will reinforce Elle?s message about emotional well-being and explore the employer?s role in supporting their current and future workforce during what is being called, a national mental health crisis.
